SALOME & SALICHAN
In Salome & Salichan: Always with Me, I created a second performer on stage, Salichan, an animated avatar who is projected on screen and will help me show the audience what powerful impact music has on us. She is my sidekick, but also impersonates my alter-ego in a way because she speaks her mind in situations where I (and many of us) might not dare to speak up. Innocent and fearless like a child, Salichan was created to connect with the audience and inspire.”

ENVISAGE
In Salome's Envisage, the artist performs the music in its purest classical form. During the live piano performance a video projection of cinematic visuals and lighting takes the audience on a wandering journey through lost, forgotten and mysterious places. Parallel to the musical rhythms of the compositions, the visuals support the performance as both a scenic element surrounding Salome and as a series of freely interpretable micro-narrative fragments that transport the audience into a new experience of classical music and allows to experience the music in a truly heightened way.
Salome developed her initial concert program with a world class team of experienced specialists; this team produced a fully staged workshop of this program in New York July 2012.
