I was going to post about new music I’m working on and my plum wine that I made but all I’ve been able to think about for days now is George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and the rage that their and their countless fellows’ murder sparked in the US in the recent days. I’ve been searching for words to say but anything I come up with sounds useless and out of place coming from me.
What I can say is that as a privileged white woman from Western Europe I didn’t understand what systemic racism really meant until I met my husband. Never could I have imagined the atrocities and heartbreaks that happen on a daily basis to POCs in general, but especially to black people, in the US. Never would I have imagined that being chased at gun point by police officers as an 11-year-old for playing frisbee with a friend in the neighborhood, that being stopped, surrounded & threatened by 12 police officers for merely driving a car at night, that being ticketed for alleged crimes that very obviously weren’t committed, or being refused and/or called the police on at restaurants, banks, being judged solely based on skin color, or not getting the same medical treatment as their white counterparts, are regular, if not daily, occurrences. Never could I have imagined the heartbreak to know that it happens so often that Brandon has to calm ME down because for him “it’s normal”.
Well it’s not my normal and shouldn’t be his either.
White privilege needs to go and never come back. #BlackLivesMatter#ICantBreathe#EndPoliceBrutality

I finally gained enough courage to get myself a bicycle!🚲😁 It’s been probably 20 years since I last rode one so right now I’m still getting used to it and wouldn’t wish for anyone to cross my path in these streets.😂😅 Catch my first ride around our neighborhood in my stories.🤪

Happy 5th anniversary to The Witcher 3! Considered by many to be one of the best games in recent history, the soundtrack is definitely exquisite and one of my all time favorites.
You can listen to my medley and tribute to it on my YouTube channel or Spotify!
I hope you’ve been liking my new album! If you’ve listened to it, do you have a favorite song from it?
One of my all-time favorite #Naruto songs is “Sadness and Sorrow”. I’m excited to announce that the sheet music for my arrangement is now available on Musicnotes!🎹🎼🤓
I’m putting the link for it in the comments below👇🏻.
More to come soon!🤗
